Community Cats Need Your Help

We Love Animals, Just as You Do!

Community cats live in our neighborhoods and need help getting through extreme weather. Recent years have brought record setting heat waves in the summer and sub zero temperatures in the winter. You can help these precious fur balls with something as simple as a bowl of water or a bit more elaborate as a shelter.

How To Care For Community Cats

Feral cats are often referred to as "Community Cats" because they are a concern for the whole community. See our suggestions on how to help care for the cats in your neighborhood.

Trap Neuter Return (TNR)

Relocating cats is not recommended. Trapping, Neutering and then returning cats to where they were caught can help cut down on overpopulation and allow the kitties to still live a full life.

Shelters

Putting out a shelter can help cats stay warm in the winter and give them a place away from predators.

Feeding

Cats need extra calories in the winter to help generate body heat. They don't always drink enough water, so wet food can help keep them hydrated in the summer.
